Day 01: CAIRO
Arrival at Cairo International Airport, assistance in Spanish from our representative before passport control. Transfer to the hotel and overnight stay.
Day 02: CAIRO
Breakfast at the hotel. Departure for the included visit to the Three Pyramids of Giza: Cheops, Chephren, and Menkaure, the Eternal Sphinx, and the Temple of the Valley of Khafre (entrance to the interior of a pyramid is not included). Free afternoon; optional visit to the Saqqara Necropolis and the city of Memphis, capital of the Old Kingdom. In the evening, optional visit to the Sound and Light Show at the Pyramids of Giza. Return to the hotel and overnight stay.
Day 03: CAIRO / LUXOR
Breakfast at the hotel. Free day, or you can fly directly to Luxor in the morning, with the option of taking a full-day tour of Cairo: the Egyptian Museum of Pharaonic Art, the Citadel of Saladin with its Alabaster Mosque of Muhammad Ali, the Khan el-Khalili Bazaar, and the Coptic Quarter. In the afternoon, transfer to Cairo International Airport for a domestic flight to Luxor. Upon arrival, transfer to the ship. Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 04: LUXOR / ESNA / EDFU
(Full Board) Visit to the East Bank of Luxor: the Temples of Luxor and Karnak. Visit to the West Bank of Luxor: the Theban Necropolis, the Valley of the Kings, the Mortuary Temple of Queen Hatshepsut known as Deir el-Bahari, and the Colossi of Memnon. At the scheduled time, we will set sail for Esna. We will cross the Esna Lock and continue sailing towards Edfu. Overnight on board.
Day 05: EDFU / KOM OMBO / ASWAN
(Full Board) Arrival in Edfu and visit to the Temple of Edfu, dedicated to the god Horus. Sailing to Kom Ombo. Arrival in Kom Ombo and visit to the Temple of Kom Ombo, the only temple dedicated to two deities: the crocodile-headed god Sobek and the falcon-headed god Haroeris. Sailing to Aswan. Overnight on board.
Day 06: ASWAN
(Full Board) In the morning, a felucca ride on the Nile River (traditional Egyptian sailboats) to admire a panoramic view of the Aga Khan Mausoleum, Elephantine Island, and the Botanical Garden. Afterwards, visit to the Aswan High Dam and the Philae Temple. Overnight on board.
Day 07: ASWAN / ABU SIMBEL
Breakfast and disembarkation. Transfer by road to Abu Simbel. Arrival at the hotel. In the afternoon, included excursion by road to the famous Temples of Abu Simbel. In the evening, attendance at the Sound and Light Show at the Temples of Abu Simbel. Return to the hotel. Dinner and overnight stay.
Day 08: ABU SIMBEL / ASWAN / CAIRO
Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer by road to Aswan International Airport and domestic flight to Cairo. Arrival in Cairo and transfer to the hotel. In the evening, optional dinner and show excursion on a Nile River cruise. Return to the hotel and overnight stay.
Day 09: CAIRO
Breakfast at the hotel. At the scheduled time, transfer to Cairo International Airport, where our representative will assist you in Spanish. End of services.
