• Guests residing abroad are exempt from the 19% VAT tax, provided they can demonstrate this to the hotel at check-in with their immigration entry stamp. The stamp must be the PT stamp issued by Colombian Immigration for visitors entering the country for leisure, recreation, cultural, health, events, conventions, or business activities. If the exemption is not met, the guest will be required to pay the 19% VAT tax directly at the destination.

Meeting point at the Bodeguita Tourist Pier: 7:00 – 7:30 AM

Return from the island to Cartagena by speedboat: 2:30 – 2:45 PM

Check-in: 2:00 PM (departs from San Sebastián del Pastelillo Fort)

Check-out: 12:00 PM (departs from the Hotel)

• Sofitel Cartagena Hotel Schedule

Transfers are included via catamaran operating Monday through Thursday. From Friday to Sunday, speedboat service is provided.

Schedule:

Cartagena - Sofitel Barú: 11:00 AM or 3:00 PM

Sofitel Barú - Cartagena: 12:00 PM or 4:00 PM

Duration: From the dock to the hotel, the catamaran trip takes approximately 45 to 60 minutes, and the speedboat trip takes 30-40 minutes.

Notes:

This is a shared service with other guests arriving or departing on the same day. We suggest arriving at least 20 minutes before the scheduled departure. Departure from the Manga Yacht Club.

Service subject to cancellation due to weather conditions or instructions from competent authorities.

• The maritime transfer from Cartagena to Barú is subject to change without prior notice due to weather conditions. If this transfer is not possible, the journey will be made by land.

• Isla del Encanto: Full Board (Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner)

• Double rooms (DBL) with two twin beds may have a supplement depending on the configuration and availability of each hotel.

• Programs are quoted for regular services, except for the Luxury Plus category, which includes private transfers and city tours (except for transfers to the islands, which, even at Luxury Plus hotels, are shared). For programs in other hotel categories, regular services are included. We recommend adding the private services supplement for a more relaxed and comfortable trip.

• Not included: Airfare, meals not specified, dock tax (approximately USD 7), travel insurance (approximately USD 3), optional activities, unmentioned expenses, tips, and other unspecified costs.
