Three Cities That Captivate

Arrival and transfer from El Dorado International Airport to the selected hotel. Accommodation.

Breakfast at the hotel. Afterwards, one of our representatives will pick you up from your hotel for a visit to Bogotá’s historic centre. The walking tour will start at Bolívar Square and nearby streets, where you will see buildings such as the National Capitol, the House of the Comuneros, the House of Nariño (Presidential Palace), and a panoramic visit to the Santa Clara Church Museum. You will then enter the Gold Museum, which houses around 34,000 pieces of pre-Hispanic goldwork, and proceed to the Quinta de Bolívar Museum, the residence of Liberator Simón Bolívar. The tour continues from the city’s 2,600 metres above sea level to the 3,152 metres of Monserrate Sanctuary, where the image of the Fallen Lord of Monserrate is venerated. From there, you can enjoy the best panoramic view of Bogotá. Return to the hotel and overnight stay.

Breakfast at the hotel. At the agreed time, one of our representatives will contact you at your hotel to start a trip through the Bogotá savannah to Zipaquirá, which means 'city of our Father' in the Chibcha language. In pre-Columbian times, saline springs in this region were exploited to produce 'salt loaves', a currency used by the Muiscas. Over time, technology changed and mining began to extract larger quantities of salt. In these old underground galleries stands the Salt Cathedral of Zipaquirá, 180 metres below the surface. There is a small miners’ chapel in honour of the Virgin, Our Lady of the Rosary of Guasá (meaning 'mine' in Chibcha). After the visit, return to Bogotá, the hotel, and overnight stay.

Breakfast. At the agreed time, start a panoramic tour of Medellín’s tourist spots. You will begin in the El Poblado district, the city’s financial, hotel, and commercial hub; Cerro Nutibara, a natural viewpoint with a replica of a traditional Antioquian village at its summit. You will also visit educational and cultural spaces such as the Botanical Garden, Explora Park, the Park of Wishes, and the Barefoot Park. The Metropolitan Basilica Cathedral of Medellín is the largest adobe construction in the world. Of course, you cannot miss Botero Plaza, featuring 23 bronze sculptures by Colombian master Fernando Botero. Additionally, enjoy a tour of the Medellín metro. Return to the hotel. Rest of the day at leisure and overnight stay.

Breakfast at the hotel. In the morning, one of our representatives will contact you at your hotel to start a trip to the eastern department. The route passes through towns such as Marinilla, known for its colonial architecture and fervent religious tradition, and Nuevo Peñol, a municipality that replaced the old Peñol, which was submerged to create the Peñol-Guatapé reservoir in the late 1970s. Visit the Peñol Rock, a 220-metre high rock formation, and the town of Guatapé, known for its colourful facades and the reservoir’s waterfront. Return to Medellín and overnight stay.

Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to the airport for the flight to Cartagena (airfare not included). Arrival, reception, and transfer from the airport to the selected hotel in Cartagena. Accommodation.

Breakfast at the hotel. At the agreed time, meet one of our representatives at your hotel to start a panoramic tour of Cartagena de Indias. The tour will include the modern Bocagrande area and the Manga district, showcasing early 20th-century mansions. Next, visit San Felipe de Barajas Castle, built by the Spanish to defend against English attacks in the 17th century. Continue with a brief walk through the city’s historic centre, visiting San Pedro Claver Church, the resting place of the saint of the same name, and conclude with a visit to the Emerald Museum. The tour will end at your hotel, with the rest of the day free and overnight stay.

Breakfast. Transfer by speedboat to the included island, where you can enjoy coral beaches and a variety of reef fauna, ideal for relaxation or optional activities such as diving, snorkelling, or hiking. Lunch and return to the dock.

Island of Enchantment: Transfer to the dock is complimentary only for hotels in Bocagrande, the historic centre, and the Northern Zone. Return to the hotel will be at the passengers' expense. Dock tax not included, approximately 10 USD per person.
