New Year's Eve 2025 with an Imperial Touch in Vienna

Day 1 (29.12.2024): Bucharest – Vienna

Meeting at Henri Coanda Bucharest-Otopeni Airport at 16:10 to meet the Romanian tour guide. Boarding flight OS786 at 19:10 to Vienna. Arrival in Vienna at 19:50 local time. After collecting the luggage, transfer by coach to the hotel and check-in at QUALITY HOTEL VIENNA 4* (or similar).

Day 2 (30.12.2024): Vienna – Schönbrunn Palace (former summer residence of the imperial family)

Breakfast. Free time. Optional, together with the Romanian tour guide, we suggest a visit to Schönbrunn Palace, the former summer residence of the imperial family, one of the most beautiful palaces in Europe, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Often, Schönbrunn Palace has been compared to the Palace of Versailles in Paris. You can also stop in the courtyard of Schönbrunn Palace, where the scent of baked apples and vanilla creates a unique atmosphere. In the afternoon, free time for individual walks in the city center. Evening accommodation at QUALITY HOTEL VIENNA 4* (or similar).

Day 3 (31.12.2024): Vienna – Parndorf Designer Outlet (3h) and Bratislava, day trip

Breakfast. Free time. Optionally, we suggest an excursion to Bratislava (Slovakia) with a 3-hour stop at Parndorf Designer Outlet for shopping. In Bratislava, together with the Romanian tour guide and the local guide, we will take a 1.5-hour walking tour where we can admire some of the city's emblematic elements: St. Martin's Cathedral built in Gothic style, the Coronation Church of Maria Theresa, the Town Hall Square. Free time in the old town of Bratislava for individual walks. Return to Vienna. In the evening, we invite you to the city center together with the Romanian tour guide to enjoy the fireworks show and the New Year atmosphere (transfer is not included, to be paid individually). Happy New Year 2025!

Day 4 (01.01.2025): Vienna – Mayerling-Heiligenkreuz-Baden, half-day excursion

Breakfast. Free time. Optionally, in the afternoon, we suggest a half-day excursion together with the Romanian tour guide and local guide to Vienna Woods (Mayerling-Heiligenkreuz-Baden). In this tour, we will admire Lichtenstein Castle, visit Heiligenkreuz Monastery and the hunting lodge in Meyerling, and pass through the famous spa town of Baden (Baden Bei Wien, located 26 km from Vienna). The thermal baths in Baden are thirteen in number, with temperatures ranging from 22 °C to 36 °C, and contain calcium sulfate as the main ingredient. Free time for individual walks and lunch (optional).

We head towards the southern part of the Vienna Woods, to Mayerling (not far from the town of Alland, in Lower Austria, southwest of Vienna), where we will enjoy the town's atmosphere. Here is the hunting pavilion where Prince Rudolf (the only son of Emperor Franz Joseph) was found dead alongside Baroness Maria Vetsera.

Our last stop will be at Heiligenkreuz – a monastery with remarkable medieval art paintings, built by Leopold III. Over time, the monastery has stood out as an important musical center.

In the evening, return to Vienna and accommodation at QUALITY HOTEL VIENNA 4* (or similar).

Day 5 (02.01.2025): Vienna – Tour to Klosterneuburg and wine tasting (½ day)

Breakfast. Free time. Optionally, we suggest a half-day tour to Klosterneuburg – a 900-year-old monastery where you will discover art collections and artifacts. The abbey founded the first vineyard in Austria in 1114. After visiting it, we invite you to a wine tasting.

In the afternoon, return to Vienna and free time for individual walks.

Day 6 (03.01.2025): Vienna – Bucharest

Breakfast. Free time for last-minute shopping in the city center. Check-out. After check-out formalities, we will go on a 3-hour panoramic tour of Vienna with the Romanian tour guide and local guide. Hotel-airport transfer for boarding flight OS 787, departing to Bucharest at 21:15 local time. Arrival at Otopeni-Henri Coanda Airport at 23:50 local time.
