Day 1: Stresa Arrival and Borromean Islands Hop-on Hop-off Boat Tour

Arrival by own means in Stresa, accommodation in the rooms and start of the Borromean Islands Hop-on Hop-off boat tour from Stresa. Spend a day visiting the Borromean Islands by boat to Lake Maggiore with a 1-day ticket that allows you to hop on and off at your leisure. Starting from Piazza Marconi, in the lakeside town of Stresa, create your visit program using the boat as transport. Visit the elegant palace and symmetrical gardens of Isola Bella, admire the lush vegetation of Isola Madre and stroll along the picturesque promenade of the tiny Isola dei Pescatori. The Isola Superiore or dei Pescatori is the second stage, the most picturesque of the Borromean Islands, owes its name to the activity of its inhabitants. The only one of the Borromean Islands to be inhabited during all the months of the year, it houses a small village of fifty inhabitants characterized by a small square surrounded by narrow and sinuous alleys leading to the promenade on the northern tip of the island. As the name clearly indicates, fishing is still very popular, and you can taste fresh fish in one of the many restaurants overlooking the lake. At the end of the visit to the Isola dei Pescatori, you can get on the boat again to reach the Isola Bella. Duration: 2 hours.

The Isola Bella is the third stage of our boats, the most famous of the three islands, houses the princely Borromeo palace surrounded by an Italian garden, built on ten terraces. But what really impresses and leaves you speechless is the famous park: an Italian garden consisting of ten terraces that overlap in a cut pyramid, embellished with statues, fountains, rare shrubs, exotic plants and flowers with delicate scents such as magnolia and camellias. . The upper part of the gardens, nicknamed "amphitheater" for the shows held here, is surmounted by the unicorn, the symbol of the Borromeo family. Hop on and off the boat as many times as you want, as you admire the beautiful lake scenery and visit the beautiful tourist attractions on the islands. Day 2: Stresa and return

Breakfast at the hotel, check out and day to discover Stresa. In its historic center you can visit the Parish Church of Sant'Ambrogio, neoclassical style, collects inside some seventeenth-century paintings. To its right is the famous Villa Ducale dating back to the late eighteenth century and built in the same style, not far away is the Palazzo dei Congressi.
